Built In-House
Our cabinetry is manufactured by our team, combining skilled craftsmanship with modern equipment. This allows us to maintain control over the quality, fit, and finish of each project while still offering the flexibility of a custom build.
We make many of the details that define the finished look of your cabinetry, including cabinet doors, mouldings, and specialty components. By producing these elements ourselves, we can achieve a more consistent, tailored result in each space.
-
Custom Finishes
A great finish starts with the right colour, tone, and preparation. Our stains and paints are formulated in-house from scratch with pigments, enabling us to achieve custom colours and finishes for each project.
Whether you’re looking for a natural wood stain, a soft neutral paint, a bold feature colour, or a finish that ties in with other materials in your home, our team can help guide your selection so the final result feels cohesive.
-
Materials & Local Sourcing
We take pride in the materials used in our cabinetry. Whenever possible, we try to use local and Canadian-sourced products, supporting suppliers close to home while maintaining the quality our projects require.
From sheet goods to hardware and accessories, our goal is to choose materials that perform well, look great, and suit the needs of each project.
-
Precision Manufacturing
Cabinet parts are machined using computer-controlled equipment for accuracy and consistency, then assembled and detailed by our team. From cabinet boxes and doors to mouldings, trim, panels, and specialty pieces, each component is made with attention to fit, function, and finish.
This gives us the precision of modern manufacturing with the flexibility of a custom cabinet shop, without being limited to standard sizes.
-
Finishing & Quality Control
Before your cabinetry leaves our shop, each project is carefully reviewed for fit, finish, and function. Doors and cabinet parts are sanded through multiple stages using both hand and machine sanding, including between coats of paint or stain, to help achieve a smooth, consistent finish. Drawers, hardware, and final details are then checked to make sure everything is complete and ready for installation.

Built to Last
Our goal is to create cabinetry that looks great, functions well, and stands up to everyday use. Ottawa Valley Kitchens stands behind its work with a 5-year warranty on materials and workmanship from the date of installation, along with a lifetime warranty on drawer slides and door hinges. Any defective part or product will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of an authorized Ottawa Valley Kitchens representative.
